Description: "This species is an annual to 80 cm. Leaves to 7 cm, less than 5 times as long as wide; the lower ones often fall during dry periods. Lower lip of the corolla narrow but prominent and drooping. The 4 stamens are strongly arched and bluish, thus the common name. Common.”- Wilbur H. Duncan, 1999.
